Katie and Blake met when they were very young and grew up together — their grandparents and aunts are best friends. They both fell in love with each other very fast and Katie knew that Blake was the one from the very first time they hung out together. She loves his patience and he is the most patient person she has ever met.
The Proposal
Katie and Blake got engaged at Bay Pointe Inn, after just 6 months together, during a Gun Lake Live Summer Concert Series night.
The Day & Design
Katie would describe the day as simple and relaxed. Katie loved that the venue was so pretty that she didn’t feel she needed to do much to make it perfect. Two unique details that they incorporated was having a donut truck and for the father daughter dance, they did a lip sync battle.
