LETTER FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER JIM BULTEMA
Looking Ahead
Letter from the General Manager
As the golf season comes to an end, I wanted to say thank you to our employees and members for another wonderful season. As the season began there were many unknowns, but our Railside community worked together during these unprecedented times to make the most of it all. There were many great golf and pool days, and delicious meals shared with friends and family.
One of our youngest members, Adelyn, shared a worksheet she filled out for school with us. Seeing and hearing things like this brings a smile to our faces. It is our goal to make the Club a welcoming and enjoyable place for all, and we couldn’t do it without your support.
A few reminders:

Around the Course
October is here and immediately we saw the cold wet weather. As a result, the leaves are beginning to change and fall to the ground. Please be patient with us as we try to keep the course clean. We will have blowers going non-stop every day. This is also our last full month of golf and our greens, mostly par 3’s are showing the wear and tear of a busy golf season. Just a reminder to work with us repairing ball marks.
Notable dates to keep in mind:
- Greens Aerification – October 13 and 14th
- Closing the Driving Range – October 15th
- Winterizing the bathrooms – October 15th
The course is in great shape, and I’m looking forward to finishing the golf season strong with you!
